Tea & Talk

News |

As part of Mental Health Awareness Week, May 9 - 15, Lincs Inspire are proud to be hosting a 'Tea & Talk', supporting local mental health charity North East Lincolnshire Mind and their campaign to get people talking and fundraising for better mental health.

Mental Health Awareness Week is an annual event when there is an opportunity for the whole of the UK to focus on achieving good mental health. The Mental Health Foundation started the event 21 years ago. The theme this year will be loneliness.

The idea behind the fundraising campaign is simple, have a cuppa, enjoy a natter and raise money for better mental health.

We want to encourage lots of people to get involved by hosting a Tea and Talk event. Hosting an event will help us to challenge the stigma around mental health, and to raise vital funds so that we can continue to support more people living in our area.

North East Lincolnshire Mind is a local mental health charity, which means we rely on local donations to carry out our work. All the money raised from ‘Tea and Talk’ will go to helping us support people with their mental health in the local area.
