Journey through time and discover the stories behind the names of streets of Cleethorpes at what promises to be an illuminating talk from local author Emma Lingard.

Author of ‘Grimsby Streets’ published in 2017, Emma often leads walking tours around Grimsby and Cleethorpes, giving insights into street names and how the area developed.

The talk is part of local history project ‘Streets and their Stories’, a series of events funded by The Heritage Lottery Fund.

The resort has a rich history and owes much to the railways and the landowners for its development. People will be able to find out more about the people or places the streets are named after.
