Emerging Writers

News |

TWO new theatrical scripts by local writers are being brought to audiences at Cleethorpes Library’s Albert Room on Friday, February 10 at 7pm.

The theme of the evening - Secrets & Sacrifices - is hosted by North East Lincolnshire-based Breakwater Theatre Company. The event is part of a programme of Arts Council funded activities, bringing a new chapter to the cultural offer at Cleethorpes Library.

The new works being performed on the evening by local actors are: Something’s Not Right written by Byron Pratt and The Mary Anne by Christopher Burton.

Both scripts are works in progress and Breakwater is delighted to offer advice and dramaturgy to these emerging writers.

The performances will be script in hand readings performed by a talented group of performers, featuring both familiar and new faces to Breakwater’s audiences.

Similar in style to our recent Scratch nights, we expect this event to be very popular, so please book your tickets early.
