IN the runup to Christmas, The Shop at Cleethorpes Library is expanding to sell a variety of uniquely crafted items and souvenirs.

Many handmade items inspired by the area will be available to buy, including Christmas cards, decorations, postcards and prints. All the artwork within the gift shop is handmade by local artists.

Caroline Moorby, Arts Development Officer, Lincs Inspire said: "As a team we are passionate about supporting local artists and feel that The Shop is a great opportunity to do this. The artists that we stock are all very different and produce unique and interesting items."

There is also the opportunity to buy local history merchandise and souvenirs of the resort.

Local history titles available include Grimsby and the Haven Company, Feeding the Nation, Legacy of the Workhouse, and Waltham Memories.

There are lots of unique items that will make for great gifts throughout the year. New stock includes cushions, coasters, canvas prints, mugs, tea towels and greetings cards, all adorned with great local history images.
