A FOCUS on children’s health and wellbeing sees a host of North East Lincolnshire organisations join forces to shine a light on the support available locally for children and their families.
The free event – Children’s Health & Wellbeing Fayre - takes place on Sunday, February 5, from 12 noon to 4pm at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, the eve of Children’s Mental Health Week (6 - 12 February).
The event raises the awareness of the number of local organisations who provide advice, services and activities for children and their families, to support their mental and physical wellbeing.
Organiser, Jess Briggs, customer service supervisor at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, is organising the fayre to showcase the support that is available in the hope it will benefit many children, young people, carers, and families.
So far we’ve had nearly 20 community groups and organisations sign up to be at the Fayre to shine a light on how they support children in our area,” said Jess.
For families looking for help, they may be finding it hard to get hold of the right information or a suitable support group; they may not know where to turn. They’ll be so much information available at the event and all organisations will be offering something fun and exciting for children to take part in. There will be lots going on and something for everyone.Jess Briggs Customer Service Supervisor
