Two classes are also taking place on the day at 10:30am and 12:30pmBack Care and Relaxation – to demonstrate the type of classes available to support employees who may have back-related injuries, along with breathing techniques to help de-stress.

Those visiting are welcome to join a class or simply observe. The event coincides with National Back Care Awareness Week and so the back care sessions are also open to existing customers to enjoy.

The Health & Wellbeing Centre is home to the Wellness Hub – one of the largest hubs in the country supporting those with medical conditions using power-assisted exercise equipment - unique to Grimsby.

Wellness to Work

Lincs Inspire colleagues will be on-hand to offer information to businesses about the Wellness to Work– an employer referral scheme to encourage positive health and wellbeing within the workplace. The programme supports employees who may:

  • be absent from work due to long term sickness;
  • have high sickness absence; or
  • are at risk of being off work due to ill health.

Employees are referred onto the Wellness to Work programme via a health professional and are supported by their employers.

Businesses interested in finding out more and having a tour of the facility can pop along on Thursday, October 6 between 10am and 2pm or email
