Summer Reading Challenge

Summer Reading Challenge

The Summer Reading Challenge is an annual event aimed at those aged 4 to 11 years old. Children are encouraged to read six (or more) books of their choice during the summer holidays with collectable incentives and rewards, plus a certificate for every child who completes the challenge. The scheme is designed by the Reading Agency and delivered by public libraries nation-wide.

This year (2021) the challenge is themed Wild World Heroes and encourages taking action to protect the planet.

Sign up for the challenge at any our library branches until September 25. There are also additional resources online at summerreadingchallenge.org.uk
