May Half Term


Make the most of the May half term break with Lincs Inspire's action packed programme of activities. Our coaches work with children of all ages across a number of North East Lincolnshire schools and look forward to helping your children learn new skills, gain confidence and make new friends during the school holidays.

Holiday Activities at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre

Wednesday 30th May and Friday 1st June

Children aged five to 12 love our multi-sports activity days. These fully supervised sessions include a range of sport, leisure and arts activities including badminton, football, netball, swimming, street dance, parkour, junior gym sessions and much more. Some activities are only suitable for children aged eight and above. Attend all day or add bolt-on sessions as required. Pack ups are needed. Sessions times are:

  • Early bird bolt-on from 8:30am to 10am - £2.50
  • Main activity session from 10am to 3pm - £10
  • Extra time bolt-on from 3pm to 4:30pm - £2.50
  • Final whistle bolt-on from 4:30pm to 5pm - £1

You can now book and pay for our holiday activity sessions online. To do this your child will need a Lincs Inspire card and have registered for our online services. Sign-up for your free Lincs Inspire card online. Alternatively:

  • Book your child's place at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, either in site or call (01472) 323200 / (01472) 323201.
  • Telephone the sports development team on (01472) 323349 Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Half Term Activities

Dates: Tuesday 29 May to Friday 1 June
Age: Five years to 14
Pick up new tricks and skills at this four-day football course. Food package available if ordered for the full four days at £10. Packed-lunches also welcome.
Times and costs: 
•    Early bird from 8:30am - 10am - £2.00 per day
•    Main activity session from 10am - 3pm - £30 for the 4 days 
•    Extra time from 3pm - 5:30pm - £2.00 per day

Sticking, splodging, painting, colouring and much more. Packed-lunch required.
10am - 3pm - £10. Please make your payment at the start of the session.

Ages: Five years plus
Improve your skills on the pitch. Packed-lunch required.
10am - 3pm - £7.50. Please make your payment at the start of the session.

Date: Thursday 31st May
Ages: Five years plus
Learn some new street dance skills with our energetic instructors! Packed-lunch required.
10am - 3pm - £7.50. Show at 2:30pm. Please make your payment at the start of the session.

Age: Six years plus
Get help in learning how to ride your bike. One-hour slots from 9:30am to 3:00pm.
Costs: £8. Please make your payment at the start of the session. Bike hire available for £5 and helmet hire for £2.

Dates: Thursday 31st May
Age: Eight years plus
For children who are able to ride unaided and need to improve their cycling skills and confidence riding a bicycle. Bike hire available for £5 and helmet hire for £2.  10am to 12 noon.
Costs: £8

About the team

Lincs Inspire's Sports Development coaches work across a number of schools in North East Lincolnshire delivering bikeability, PE lessons and extracurricular activities. Coaches are qualified to a minimum Level 2 in Multi-skills Development in Sport and in Principles and Preparations for Coaching Sport. All are DBS checked and hold Emergency First Aid and Safeguarding Children certificates. Individual qualifications are wide-ranging including Athletics, Gym Instruction, Cheerleading, Zumba, Speech Therapy, ADHD and Epilepsy Awareness.
