Coaches have up to four sports Level 2 qualifications and numerous Level 1 qualifications plus first aid, safeguarding children, disability awareness courses and all staff are DBS checked. Bespoke schools packages can be tailored to you school's requirements. Our offer includes:

Sport specific PE lessons delivered in 6 to 8 week blocks in line with school terms. Lessons are all pre-planned and is available for teachers throughout delivery. All lessons are delivered in line with the National Curriculum and Sports Coach UK minimum operating standards. Coaches can deliver the sessions on their own to the class but teaching assistants are welcome to support if needed.

Sports Development have worked for many years with the School Sports Partnership to deliver PE upskilling to teachers in primary schools all over North East Lincolnshire. We typically deliver in 6 to 8 week blocks working with the class teacher throughout one of their PE lessons on a weekly basis. We provide lesson plans for the teacher. Coaches will lead delivery in a sport and will include the teacher to help build their confidence and knowledge. After the 6 to 8 weeks, the teacher will be able to deliver that sport on their own.

Sports Development can offer a range of weekly after school clubs to suit your needs. These can be sport or dance related activities. Typically we book after school clubs in half termly blocks and change activity or year group every 6 weeks if required.

Sports development offer breakfast clubs, which are usually fun games providing children with some light enjoyable exercise before they start their school day.

Developed around playground games and Change 4 Life clubs. The lunchtime clubs will work with a number of year 5 or 6 pupils to teach them leadership skills and how to run some basic playground games with  the aim of them becoming playground leaders after the course has finished. We can also run generic coach-led lunchtime clubs as well - either sport specific or play sessions at the school's choice.

Learning to swim is part of every child’s education. It also aids health and wellbeing and is a valuable source of keeping children fit and active. Nationally one in 14 children leave school at primary age without learning to swim. Lincs Inspire Ltd offers a wide range of packages to schools including swimming. We work in partnership with the ASA (Amateur Swimming Association) to deliver a whole range of swimming packages, including school swimming. All of our swim teachers are ASA qualified and our packages can include a badge system. School Swimming has always been a part of the National Curriculum and the revised National Curriculum gave more emphasis that primary schools MUST deliver school swimming – it’s not an option! For more information and to tailor a package for your school please contact Rob Allison on (01472) 323347 or email rob.allison@lincsinspire.com
