Super-hero FIT TO PARTY 4 Event

Issued: 24th May, 2018

Have fun getting fit with your friends and come along to Lincs Inspire’s FIT TO PARTY  4 charity event at Grimsby Auditorium on Monday, June 18, from 6.30pm to 8.30pm.

Expect fun, fitness, flashing lights and a party atmosphere in these superhero-themed, gigantic group exercise classes!

From 6pm to 6.40pm, Matt Beasley is leading the high energy BODYCOMBAT™ class.  Get fighting fit as you punch, kick and strike along to the music with this calorie burning workout.

From 6.45pm to 7.25pm, a gigantic Zumba™ class with Lesley Webb will be a fun and spicy hip swirling workout with music and moves from Latin America, Africa and the Caribbean. Its blend of music and choreographed routines will create a party atmosphere in no time.

Dance lovers can then get their glow sticks ready and bring a night out to their workout with Clubbercise® from 7.30pm to 8.10pm. Zoe Webb will lead the routines to club anthems from the 90s to today's hits. It’s a fun, easy-to-follow dance workout.

Gavin Johnstone, fitness development manager for Lincs Inspire, said: “Enthusiasm doesn’t seem to be fading for our Fit to Party events! The Grimsby Auditorium is such a great venue as it means that over one hundred people can all work out together, and with the music and lights, it makes for a great atmosphere. This time we’re having a superhero theme; fancy dress is optional - it’s just for some added fun! We hope to see our regular members, but it’s open to everyone.”

Both Zumba and Clubbercise are for those aged 14 or over, with BodyCombat for those aged 16 or over. They cost £2 for one class, £3 for two classes or £5 for all three classes and can be booked at any Lincs Inspire leisure centre from June 1.

All proceeds from the night will be split equally between the Lincolnshire Wildlife Trust and Lincs Inspire (charity number 1169071). Lincs Inspire’s proceeds will be used to expand our Little Lincs sessions for pre-schoolers into other venues.
