Healthy Exercise for body and Mind

NEW low impact exercise classes including cheerleading, line dancing and walking netball begin in the New Year throughout North East Lincolnshire.

Brought to you by Lincs Inspire, the fun and sociable workout sessions are designed for people who are new to exercise or for those who haven’t exercised for a long time and are suited to people aged over 50.

The new sessions bring the total number of weekly exercise classes to 19, helping to increase activity levels and confidence in local people as they age. Details of the new sessions are:

Rob Allison, operations manager, said: “All classes are low intensity and are led by fully qualified coaches with a passion for helping people improve their health and wellbeing. 

“The team has been running classes in the local area for over eight years and have up to 500 people attending weekly. There is something for everyone including tai chi, new age kurling, Zumba and bokwa.

“Sessions can easily be adapted for different ranges of mobility as needed and importantly it’s about getting people together, having fun and trying something new.”

Walking Football is £2 per session, with all other activities costing £3 per session, for Lincs Inspire members and non-members.
