Circus Skills & Giant Ears

Issued: Monday 25 July 2016

Have you ever fancied trying your hand at some circus skills? Well now’s your chance at Lincs Inspire Libraries Big Friendly Giant Event!

The Earthbound Misfits will be giving young people the opportunity to try out circus skills such as juggling, plate spinning and more.

The sessions, which cost £1 per child to attend, will run from 2:30pm to 3:30pm on the following days:

Monday 1st August at Cleethorpes Library

Tuesday 2nd August at Immingham Library

Wednesday 3rd August at  Grimsby Library

Thursday 4th August at Waltham Library

As well as trying out some circus skills, children can have a break from clowning around and find out more about the Summer Reading Challenge. There will also be the opportunity to make your own set of BFG ears!

Derek O’Connell, Development Manager, Lincs Inspire Libraries, said: “This is a great opportunity for local children to learn new skills, have some fun and find out more about the Summer Reading Challenge which encourages children to read six books during the summer holidays. It’s set to be a great event!”

The events are suitable for children aged 5+. Places must be booked and paid for in advance at the library where the event is being held. Places are limited, so book your place quick!
