Grimsby Leisure Centre

Grimsby Leisure Centre is a busy multi-use facility and a favourite for families. It has a wide range of facilities within the existing site and the new Grimsby Leisure Centre.
Lincs Inspire no longer operate the ice rink at Grimsby Leisure Centre (access to this facility is around the back of the leisure centre).


The 25 metre, county competition standard, 8 lane indoor swimming pool sits alongside a specialist learner pool. Our changing village houses a sauna and steam room, as well as fantastic fully accessible changing facilities.

Across our two buildings at Grimsby Leisure Centre you have a choice of three fitness suites catering for all abilities.

Grimsby Leisure Centre (New building: Pool-side) is home to a variety of Matrix equipment. It is open:

  • Monday to Friday - 6.30am to 9.30pm
  • Saturday - 6.30am to 5pm
  • Sunday - 6.30am to 5pm

Grimsby Leisure Centre (Original Building) the gym here has a dedicated free weights zone and adapted gym equipment. It’s open:

  • Thursday - 9:30am to 8pm
  • Friday - 9:30am to 8pm
  • Saturday - 9:30am to 7pm

Toning Suite
If you are looking for a more gentle form of gym-based exercise our toning suite within the original Grimsby Leisure Centre building is ideal for rehabilitation, those not used to regular exercise or for people with long term medical conditions. Further information about our toning suite.

Our four-lane indoor bowling green caters for casual use, clubs and leagues.

Our multi-use sports hall accommodates badminton, table tennis, roller disco and more. It is home to several sporting clubs and is available to hire. We also have four squash and racquet ball courts available for your use. An admission fee of 80 pence is charged to anyone playing badminton or squash.

Car parking:

Access to the site is via the entrance on Cromwell Road. There are dedicated disabled bays and parking is free.

Disabled access:

Access from the car park to the main doors is via a single-level walk. The building is on two-levels but access to the upper floors is via a lift. The reception has an adapted desk. There are also dedicated disabled changing areas and toilets. Find out more here.
