Lincs Inspire's arts development team shines the spotlight on visual arts and supports local artists to showcase their work. Talk to us today about our support to local artists, arts groups and galleries including help with accessing funding for a new project. 


Open Art Exhibition 2019

Calling all artists! It’s back for a second year...Lincs Inspire will be holding an ‘Open Art Exhibition’ in The Albert Room at Cleethorpes Library.

The exhibition is free to visit and open to the public from:

Tuesday, December 4, 2018 to Saturday, January 12, 2019. 
Monday to Thursday 8:30am to 5:30pm and Saturday 9am to 1pm.

Submit Your Art

Artists are invited to submit one or two pieces of 2D art each. The entry fee is £5 per artwork submitted.

Tennyson Illustrations Exhibition 

The Albert Room, Cleethorpes Library

1st October to 22nd November, 2018. Open during library opening hours. Free

An exhibition of illustrations of the poems of Alfred Lord Tennyson, taken from the collection held by Lincs Inspire Library service which is of national significance. This is just a small selection from the collection; many of the books are illustrated by some of the great names in book illustration like Gustav Doré. 

The images date from the Victorian era through to the 1960s and act as a potted history of book illustration.
