Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) Funding

Lincs Inspire is proud to be working with North East Lincolnshire Council to provide free holiday provision for children who receive benefits-related free school meals. The programme is part of the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme funded by the Department for Education.

Whilst our action-packed school holiday activities continue to be open to all children, many of our sessions have allocated free places for children who are eligible for free school meals.

Entitled children will also be provided with a healthy lunch, or if sessions do not run over the lunch period, a nutritional and easy cookery kit to take away to prepare with the family at home.

How to book a HAF programme funded place

  1. Click on HAF funded activities only (see below).

  2. Use the booking link in the event listing. You must book a place for each session you wish to attend using the HAF voucher code issued by your school. Separate bookings must be made for each eligible child.

  3. Ensure you also book your child’s / children’s lunch or cookery kit when making the booking and it is important you inform us of any food intolerance.

  4. When attending your session, we require you to bring your local authority issued letter, which confirms your eligibility for Free School Meals. We will also be checking details against the local authority’s Free School Meals database.
