On Sunday, 5th February, 12 noon to 4pm, Lincs Inspire will be hosting a FREE Children's Health & Wellbeing Fayre at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre.

Raising awareness of the support available for children and young people in North East Lincolnshire, the event takes place on the eve of Children’s Mental Health Week (6–12 February).

With this year’s national theme being ‘Let’s Connect’, Lincs Inspire is bringing together a host of local organisations to inspire and raise awareness with something for everyone.

Entry is completely FREE, everyone is welcome including families, care workers and young people.

Swimming voucher - valid for one public swimming session, for one person at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre. Subject to availability. No booking required. Under 8s accompanied by an adult. Ratio of one adult to two children under the age of eight. Expires 28th Feb 2023.

wRECk room voucher – valid for one wRECk room session for one person at Cleethorpes Leisure Centre, for ages 8 to 11. Available during wreck room opening times only. Expires 28th Feb 2023.

Vouchers are non-transferable.

Refreshments will be available courtesy of Stage Door Café.

Linkage Sensory Bus

A fully-accessible mobile sensory space packed full of exciting sensory equipment. The bus travels around the county working with pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and other conditions.

Tickets are available at Grimsby Heath and wellbeing until Friday, 3rd February and at the Fayre on the day. 

All proceeds will go to local charitable organisations supporting children and young people, including - St Andrews Bereavement Team, Nunnys Farm children’s sessions, Centre 4 / Climb 4 and Lincs Inspire children’s sessions

Around 1 in 6 children have experienced a mental health problem, according to NHS Digital*. This event aims to showcase the support services available to families locally, along with highlighting many opportunities for children and young people to improve both their physical and mental wellbeing.
