Visual Arts

The Arts Development Team has worked closely with the Library Service to transform the Cleethorpes Library meeting room into a light and bright multi-use arts space under the name of the Albert Room. Central to this was creating a professional gallery space in the room, by removing the old wall panels and replacing with new white boarding.

Since then, The Albert Room has hosted a large variety of exhibitions ranging from Quentin Blake BFG artwork from The House of Illustration to Tennyson bookplates and many others. The room also hosts an annual Open Arts Exhibition. The Albert Room hire rates remain very competitive, enabling local artists at all levels to exhibit their work in an attractive and accessible gallery space.
