Local author events during Libraries Week

North East Lincolnshire has a wealth of talented local authors and Lincs Inspire Libraries is giving residents the opportunity to meet and discover their work during Libraries Week in October.

Rebecca Mascull...

...will be talking about her latest book - The Wild Air – on Thursday, October 12 at Waltham Library from 6pm to 7pm.

Based in Edwardian England, where aeroplanes are a new, magical invention and female pilots are rare indeed, a shy girl’s life changes forever when she meets her mother’s aunt from North Carolina. It’s a story about love, loss and following your dreams against all odds.

Places may be limited so advance booking is advisable. Tickets cost £2.50, available from Waltham Library or by calling (01472) 323656. Copies of The Wild Air are available to borrow from the library and copies will also be for sale on the evening.
