Arts Development

Lincs Inspire’s Arts Development Team supports and promotes cultural activities of all types throughout North East Lincolnshire. Our work has the following three central strands:

  1. The Arts Development Team compiles, publishes and distributes the Cultural Quarter booklet throughout NE Lincolnshire. This is an approximately 50 page booklet that lists all the cultural activities in NE Lincolnshire for the period it covers. It is free to have an event listed in the cultural quarter and it is free to have the cultural quarter mailed to you. For further information about the Cultural Quarter, please email: rachel.mcwilliam@lincsinspire.com.

  2. The Arts Development Team offers operational and strategic support to local artists and arts groups as needed and this includes help and support to access funding. For more information on this strand of our work, please email: dave.power@lincsinspire.com

  3. The Arts Development Team pro-actively identifies ‘cold spots’ in the local arts provision and works to fill them. In recent years, we have been particularly active in the field of dance, helping to secure substantial arts council grants and leading the South Humber Dance Hub to offer a range of dance activities from grassroots engagement, through to dance residencies by dance companies of national standing to local and regional showcasing events. For more information about the dance programme, please email: caroline.moorby@lincsinspire.com.
